Cable Percussion Boreholes

This tried-and-tested drilling system utilises a traditional A-frame rig and a winch-operated drop-tool system.

The boring method enables accurate logging of soil properties and the intelligent selection of sampling and in situ testing methods.

Boreholes can be extended to depths of up to 50m in superficial deposits.

The drilling method is recommended for geotechnical and geo-environmental projects that require high-quality Class 1 samples, detailed logging of soil properties, and measurement of groundwater inflow rates.
